A sunny (albeit cold) day in Downtown Elgin.  Didn't get much sleep last night, for unknown reasons (drinking) but I am slowly but surely catching up to the day ahead.

I've been "officially" living here for about a week now, and I have to say that it's been great.  I'm a block away from the beautiful, 100-year old Victorian-style housing on Douglas St., and a mile and a half from Ravenheart.  Instead of take a nice walk or bike ride down to the shop, I've been having to drive my car these past few days.  Only in Illinois can you get 80 degree weather and be right back in the 50's within 3 hours.

This summer should be one of the best yet.  New town, new activities, new possibilities.  Can't wait to see what Elgin has in store for me.
